What is reel-to-reel plating?
It is plating done on a continuous metal strip that runs from one reel to another. The strip is cleaned, plated, checked in line and re-reeled, which gives consistent results over long runs. It is ACRO's core line.
Which metals does Acro Metaglaze plate?
Tin, nickel, silver, gold and copper. Tin is used for solderability, nickel as a barrier against wear and corrosion, silver for conductivity, gold for reliable low-resistance contacts and copper as an underlayer.
Is Acro Metaglaze ISO certified?
Yes: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 (certificates IN64148A, IN64148B and IN64148C-1), covering reel-to-reel, selective/terminal, barrel, rack and vibratory plating.
